Rohan & Srijuth's Kilimnjaro Challenge – Going Beyond Ourselves
Story
On the 21st of March 2015, Rohan and I will set off on an adventure that does not compare to anything we have done together in our life. The adventure involves 7 Days of trekking Mount Kilimanjaro - the tallest mountain in Africa at 5,895 metres, one of the highest volcanoes in the world.
This event will raise money for the Telco Together Foundation – bringing the telecommunications industry together in support of disadvantaged communities.
Telco Together Foundation is an industry charity that supports disadvantaged communities through fundraising, volunteering and promoting the use of technology to create solutions to social problems. All money raised through this event will go towards programs helping those who are most in need, including support for:
As with all the participants in the challenge, we as individuals are responsible to cover our own costs for expedition. 100% of the money you donate will go to the Telco Together Foundation to be distributed to the disadvantaged communities listed above.
